Why

As Cuba faces an existential crisis from intensified US sanctions, its government has announced a set of 176 economic reforms. What do these economic reforms mean for Cuba, the Cuban people and the Cuban revolution? Do these changes represent a withdrawal from Cuba’s project of socialist construction, or do they represent the continuation of the revolution under incredibly difficult circumstances?

To answer some of these questions, and analyse the current moment facing Cuba, the forum will hear from Marxist scholar and Socialist Alliance activist Renfrey Clarke.
