Why
Join us on Friday July 17th for the official opening of The Wall of Tears a powerful memorial to 18,457 children killed in Gaza, between October 2023 and July 2025.
The memorial by American artist Phil Buehler was first unveiled in Brooklyn, New York on January 29th this year, to mark the anniversary of the death of Hind Rajab, a 5 year old Palestinian girl killed with members of her family, when the car in which they were fleeing to safety was hit with over 350 rounds of ammunition by Israeli forces. Stretching 15m long by 3 m tall, the memorial lists name after name of children whose lives were cruelly cut short. Stories and photographs of some of the children are included.
Powerful and heartbreaking - we must bear witness and honour these innocent lives lost.

The Wall of Tears will be on display from Thursday July 16th until Saturday July 25th.
