Why

Celebrate Independence (from the USA) Day with a doco on the planet's worst polluter.

Join us at the MAGNT Museum Theaterette for a new film by journalist Abby Martin identifying the USA military as Earth's Greatest Enemy.

Tickets $10 available from Eventbrite or gold coin donation at the door.

USA Department of Defence not only drives conflict around the world, but is also by far the largest institutional carbon emitter, with operational emissions alone sizing up to a mid-sized industrial nation. Wars are carbon-shock events to rival the scale of fossil polluters - completely outside the scope of international agreements. And unlike other institutional emitters, the USA DoD enforces the conditions for accelerated extraction. The military’s climate impact is structural, not just volumetric.

Tickets $10 available from Eventbrite or gold coin donation at the door.
