Radical walking tour: Waterloo South

Action for Public Housing protest in Sydney

Waterloo Neighbourhood Centre
95 Wellington St
Waterloo NSW 2017

Why

The NSW Chris Minns government is threatening to demolish Waterloo South public housing, perfectly liveable apartment blocks at the end of May.

They've forcibly evicted 140 residents and boarded up their former homes.

In a housing crisis, demolishing public housing is criminal.

Come and explore Waterloo South with residents and historians and activists.

  • This is a free event
  • The tour will take about 1.5 hours
  • Snacks provided
  • Short walk, on flat terrain
