Why
Across New South Wales, South East Queensland and Lutruwita / Tasmania, native forests continue to be logged under government licences, pushing endangered wildlife to the brink of extinction and worsening the climate crisis.
Australia’s largest sawmill is in Victoria, primarily owned by the Victorian Government and subsidised by you as taxpayers.
Right now, this mill is being fed logs taken from Tasmania’s ancient native forests that are critical habitat for endangered Spotted-tailed Quolls, Swift Parrots, Masked Owls, and Tasmanian Devils.
Enough!
Visit the March For Forests Naarm hub for the latest updates, posters and other resources, or to volunteer.
Over the past two years, we've rallied and marched together for forests, with almost 30,000 people joining us across the four nationwide events.
Let’s keep the momentum growing and make this our biggest, boldest show of people power yet.
