Why
Right now, forests across South East Queensland are being flattened.
These forests are critical habitat for endangered wildlife, including the Greater Glider, which depends on mature native forests to survive.
Queensland holds the largest area of native forest in the country - 51.6 million hectares, and nearly 40% of Australia’s remaining native forests.
Yet only 8% of these critical forests are protected.
What happens here matters nationally, and these forests must not be destroyed.

Let’s keep the momentum growing and make this our biggest, boldest show of people power yet.
