Why
On the eve of Labour Day weekend and on International Women's Day we will gather to continue to advocate for Palestinian freedom and freedom in the broader middle east. We stand with the women of Palestine and the workers of Palestine and oppressed women and workers everywhere.
Free Palestine Bendigo stands firmly against the illegal US and Israeli aggression against Iran, which is clearly part of Israel's greater plans for dominance in the region. We commit to continue to speak up for Palestinians, whose perilous situation becomes even worse while the world is distracted.
We encourage attendees to head up the road to Bendigo Trades Hall after the Vigil for the Labour Day BBQ they are hosting.
