Why

For the first time in this campaign, your elected AEU Executive are directing union members to take full-day strike action with marches and rallies around the state.

The Premier is already under pressure from our work bans. Let’s make it crystal clear that we’re fired up – and we will not back down without seeing real change.

Read the strike FAQ.

Launceston schedule

Wednesday 25 March

  • March begins at 12:20pm – gather at Princes Square
    • Alternatively march at 12:20pm from Inveresk Precinct, 2-4 Invermay Rd

Bring your coworkers. Wear red. Make some noise.

This is your chance to show the Government that we are united, determined, and ready to fight for the change our schools need.

Together we can win this.
