Why

For the first time in this campaign, your elected AEU Executive are directing union members to take full-day strike action with marches and rallies around the state.

The Premier is already under pressure from our work bans. Let’s make it crystal clear that we’re fired up – and we will not back down without seeing real change.

Burnie schedule

Tuesday 24 March

  • March begins at 12:30pm – gather at the Burnie Arts and Function Centre carpark
  • Rally & speeches at 1pm – West Beach/Hilder Parade Reserve (near the octopi)

Other rallies

Follow the link for the time and location of other strikes and rallies around the state.

Bring your coworkers. Wear red. Make some noise.

This is your chance to show the Government that we are united, determined, and ready to fight for the change our schools need.

Together we can win this.
