Why

We march again this week, following Invasion Day on the lands of stolen Wardandi Noongar boodja ✊🏽

We join First Nations calls for justice and stand in solidarity with their ongoing resistance. The struggles of First Nations peoples and Palestinians are inseparable, bound by shared histories and ongoing experiences of displacement, violence, cultural destruction, and resistance to colonial power.

This week, we march for the freedom of Palestinians and in rejection of colonialism and the oppression of Indigenous peoples worldwide. January 26 is not a date to celebrate. It is a reminder of invasion, dispossession, and violence. The same settler colonial logic that destroyed this land and people continues in the stolen lands of Palestine.

We oppose brutal, racist regimes that seek to silence and slaughter lives they refuse to value as equal, driven by selfish interests, immoral beliefs, and prejudice.

Colonisation is ongoing.
No justice without truth.
No peace without liberation.
No freedom until all are free.

Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

Free Palestine!
