Why

The People United would like to hold a community discussion next weekend in solidarity with First Nations people ahead of Invasion day. The rise of myriad white nationalist groups, the attack on Camp Sovereignty in Naarm/Melbourne only 4 months ago, white supremacy flyers in letterboxes locally and across the country, I think we can all agree - this shit is well out of hand.

Bring a blanket and a bite to eat and let's chat about what's happening in our community Muloobinda/Newcastle and the support needed for Blak Caucus with their Invasion Day Rally, and for Yabun in Sydney on the 26th.

We will not let white nationalists hijack the important class struggles facing communities by pinning blame at the feet of immigrants and we will not allow them to claim that acknowledgement of First Nations history and seeking justice for their suffering is somehow 'erasure' of white Australians.
Always was, always will be.
