Why

Have you ever wanted to try non-violent direct action (NVDA)? Come along for a half-day introduction to taking Action for Earth and learn all you need to know to join us on the frontline.

This is a great way to meet like-minded people and connect with experienced activist trainers. Topics include:

  • Non-violence and de-escalation of violence
  • History and context of direct action
  • Different types of actions and roles within actions
  • Legals briefing for activists
  • How to get involved

This will be a great opportunity to get skilled up before heading down to Lutruwita for the Forest Resistance Tour (https://bobbrown.org.au/event/forest-resistance/).

Places are limited to maintain the effectiveness of the training so make sure to register if you do not want to miss out!

For updates check the Humanitix event.
