Hello friends,
If you were thinking of joining this vigil we could really use your support this week.
Given the tragic shooting in Bondi on Sunday we want to make it very clear to the public that we stand for safety and freedom of ALL people and we mourn this loss of life just as we mourn the loss of life in Gaza, Sudan, Congo or anywhere else experiencing violence.
With some political figures such as our own MP spreading misinformation, blame and divisive rhetoric our group has fears that we may be the target of misdirected anger and hostility. We may be safer from this behaviour if more of us are present so if you could join us we would really appreciate the solidarity and support.
We meet at the corner of Magellan and Keen Street in the Lismore CBD from 4:30pm-6pm. Feel free to wear black, don your keffiyeh, bring flowers or candles, make signs with messages of safety for everyone.

Come and join us for a weekly vigil for Palestine and peace every Thursday 4:30pm-6pm. We meet on the Corner of Keen and Magellan Street in the CBD of Lismore.
Bring your signs, banners and keffiyehs if you like or simply bring yourself and your support. Stay for the whole time or just pop in briefly when you can.
