Why
Unite with us in protest against AUKUS and the increasing militarism of the NT.
This Friday we’ll gather outside of Luke Gosling’s office to show that:
- We oppose the AUKUS military alliance between the USA, UK and Aus.
- We call on the Labor Govt to divert the $100s of billions earmarked for military spending on AUKUS and nuclear subs and to spend it instead on urgent social needs in the community and climate action.
- We demand that the Labor Govt stop being a participant in genocide in Palestine through its monitoring of the occupied Gaza Strip and intelligence support from Pine Gap.
- We demand that the Labor Govt stop all shipments of F-35 fighter jet parts directly to Israel – two of which originated from the RAAF Base Tindal near Katherine.
- We oppose USA military bases and troops on unceded Aboriginal land.
- We oppose war with China!
