Why
The Big Ride for Palestine SA announces its support for the Gaza Sunbirds' next global mobilisation of the Great Ride of Return, taking place internationally on October 11-12, 2025.
This date carries a heavy weight: it marks two years since the Israeli Occupation Forces started attacking Gaza and the start of the genocide. In that time, over 60,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 100,000 injured. We have seen entire families erased and the lives of parents, children, grandparents, aid workers, journalists, teachers, and athletes taken before our eyes.
This Sunday October 12th BRFP SA, will ride together in solidarity with the Palestinian people by taking to the streets, and we are calling on our governments to stop these atrocities and to demand justice, dignity, and freedom for Palestine.
Through every ride, whether large or small, we amplify Palestinian voices, remember those who have been taken, and show that the world is watching.
Schedule
The ride will aid the Gaza Sunbird's International Great Ride of Return
- To the Lipson Street Cafe via the Greenway Cycle path, 20km return
- Ride marshals will assist to keep us safe
- We will request a $5 donation towards the Gaza Sunbird's
