The Rising Tide festival and blockade of Newcastle Coal Port last November was an inspiring mass climate movement action. 3000 people attended. Over 100 arrests. Huge and positive media attention. In 2024 Rising Tide is aiming to build to a mass attendance at the blockade of 10,000. We need your help!
If you want to help reach that target by being part of the actions, strategies and events in the the build up to the blockade in November 2024 come along and be part of this growing mass movement.
The tides are rising. Let's show governments and businesses there is no more social licence for coal and other fossil fuels; it's time for urgent action to transition away from fossil fuels.
