The APPEA-5 will assert that it is not unreasonable to obstruct one of the most influential bodies fighting against climate action. Our lives depend on it.
On 27 February, the anniversary of the climate-fuelled Lismore floods, five Canberrans were arrested for obstructing the building that houses APPEA HQ, the mouthpiece of the gas and oil industry. APPEA perniciously influences climate policy and their members are recklessly expanding gas production in a climate emergency.
