Nine years since Kevin Rudd’s apology to the Stolen Generations, where he promised the atrocities of the past would ‘never happen again’, more Aboriginal children are being forcibly taken from their families by welfare agencies in numbers far higher than any time in Australia’s history. Protest organised by Grandmothers Against Removals (Sydney Branch).
