Despite heavy rain, hundreds took part in Sydney’s 2023 Palm Sunday march, on April 2, to call for peace and refugee rights.
The rally called for permanent protection visas for refugees and opposed the $368 billion AUKUS nuclear-powered submarine deal. It marched from Belmore Park to Victoria Park.
