WEST PAPUA: Two shot dead by police

Issue 

On May 15, two West Papuans were shot dead by police outside the Wamena court. Serpi (Sodema) Hubi and Mokanineak Kossy were among a group of protesters demonstrating outside the court house in support of a local man facing corruption charges, where there was a large police and military presence. Five people were also taken to hospital.
