Website exposes lazy politicians

Issue

SYDNEY — A website exposing lazy politicians was launched on July 19 at the Penrith campus of the University of Western Sydney by Big Brother's Tim Brunero.

The first target of the site, <http://www.lazypolliewatch.com>, is federal MP Jackie Kelly, who has taken several month's leave to participate in Channel Nine's Dancing On Ice.

"It's disgraceful Jackie Kelly is taking a taxpayer-funded break simply to increase her chances of re-election", Brunero told media. "I went on reality TV but not at taxpayer's expense, I had the decency to quit my job."

"It's outrageous that a member of a government which is telling Australians they must work harder and longer has scheduled a third of a year off to go on TV."
