Members of the Sydney Peace Squadron and other solidarity groups held a vigil of support on May 20 for Robert Samsa, on trial for a protest action he was involved with on October 24 against visiting Indonesian warships. Sydney Peace Squadron used the court hearing as the focus for the launch of its campaign for East Timor. The charges against Samsa were dropped by the magistrate. Photo by Jon Land.
