Despite the driving rain, School Strike 4 Climate Warrang and supporters hosted the fifth Fossil Fool Fiesta — a protest outside the National Australia Bank (NAB) on November 26.

NAB has repeatedly shown it does not care about protecting the environment, the land rights of First Nations peoples or the future of young people.

NAB lent $7 billion to fossil fuel corporations over the past five years, funding Woodside's Burrup Hub gas project off the north west of Western Australia.

NAB lent $50 million to Santos, which wants to frack on Gomeroi land and is financing the largest coal port in the world in Newcastle.

NAB is also funding a coastal gas link in Canada, violating the land rights of the Wet’suwet’en First Nation.
