ADELAIDE — Thirty people, mostly high school students, marched despite a torrential downpour on July 1. The protesters condemned Australia's hypocrisy in creating refugees through military aggression and exploitation of the Third World, then locking up the victims. Another action is planned for 4pm on August 5 at the Mall's Balls, to demand that the refugees be freed and troops withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan.
