SYDNEY — More than 40 people gathered in Parramatta Mall on July 9 to protest against the public executions that have taken place recently in Iran and the failure of the UN to condemn human rights abuses there.

Speakers also condemned the treatment of women by the Islamic regime and the Australian government for returning refugees to Iran who then face prison or death.

The protest marked the third anniversary of the killing of protesting students by the military.
