Protest at ACT Labor conference

Issue

CANBERRA — Hundreds of protesters converged on the opening of the ALP ACT branch annual conference on July 29, leafleting delegates on issues ranging from uranium mining, through public education to the Save the Ridge campaign. The protest was organised by Save Our Schools, which is campaigning against the education cuts in the ACT Labor government's May budget.
