Refugee activists rallied in Melbourne on June 24 to stop the deportation of much loved Tamil family Priya, Nades and their children Kopica and Tharunicaa.
A rally was also held in their home town of Biloela, central Queensland.
They have since being granted a court injunction to appeal their case in the Federal Court.
