Pakistan earthquake appeal

Issue

Action in Solidarity with Asia and the Pacific is collecting donations from Australian activists to send to Pakistan for the Labour Relief Camp for Earthquake Victims.

The LRCEV is a coalition of progressive organisations, including the Labour Education Foundation (LEF), the Women Workers Help Line, the Pakistan National Trade Union Federation and the Labour Party Pakistan (LPP).

In the hours following the earthquake, the LRCEV established a relief collection camp in Lahore. It has already despatched blankets, clothes and goods to worst-hit areas. For more information on its activities visit <pacific-action.org>.
