NEW ZEALAND: Workers Charter paper goes to the press

November 17, 1993
Issue

The first issue of the Workers Charter newspaper was published in February, establishing a new forum for "workers to talk to workers". The paper's editor, well-known leftist John Minto, wrote in the first edition that the paper and the Workers Charter movement aim to "provide a rallying point for working New Zealanders not just in relation to wages and conditions of work but to all aspects of life for workers and their families". To subscribe from outside New Zealand, send a cheque for NZ$40 to Workers Charter, PO Box 56-506, Dominion Rd, Auckland. Email the editor at <editor@workerscharter.org.nz>.
