Sympathetic

You don't get preferment through flattery", immigration minister Philip Ruddock told Associated Press on October 8, after the announcement that an Iraqi family at the Manus Island detention centre had named their newborn baby after him. They have been granted refugee status, but are still waiting to be resettled.
