Daintree Web page (http:/ /www.ece.jcu.edu.au/ece/misc/capetrib/rescue.html) — Daintree in north Queensland is an amazing biological treasure that, despite having been declared a World Heritage Area, may soon be threatened. There is talk of a large-scale power development in the area and with Coalition governments in power in Brisbane and Canberra, these plans may become real. In response, the Cape Tribulation Tropical Research Station created a WWW page with information on the Daintree.

Zapatista Web sites — Accion Zapatista (http://www.utexas.edu/stud e nts/nave) is an organisation that gathers and distributes information about the EZLN (Zapatistas) and the struggles for liberty, justice and democracy in Mexico. It is opposed to US support for the Mexican government, and supports local struggles that challenge neo-liberal policies and institutions. The Accion Zapatista Web site circulates documents and statements from the Zapatista uprising and information about struggles in Mexico and throughout the world which resist capitalism and its strategies of neo-liberalism. Ya Basta — The EZLN Solidarity Page (http://www.peak.org / ~justin/ezln/ezln.html) is dedicatedto the women and men of the EZLN and to the memory of the legendary Mexican revolutionary Emiliano Zapata. The bilingual site connects you with the EZLN's communiqués, the latest news, interviews with Zapatista leaders and pictures and maps of Mexico.

South African Communist Party (http://www.anc.org.za/sacp/) — The SACP's site contains a wealth of information for anybody following developments in South Africa. You can read the latest issue of the SACP journal, the African Communist, find out addresses and phone numbers for SACP branches, track down the SACP's key historical documents and make connections to the excellent Web sites maintained by the African National Congress (http://www.anc.org.za:80/i n dex.html) and COSATU (http://www.anc.org.za:80/cosa t u/) as well as a host of left-wing sites in Africa and around the world.

International Viewpoint (http://www.ualb e rta.ca/~rdaum/iv/contents.html)International Viewpoint is a revolutionary socialist magazine of news and analysis published by the Fourth International. Its WWW page contains the text of recent articles as well as links to other pages useful for activists.

Each week there is a sample issue, features stories and back issues.
