New on the Democratic Socialist Party web site — One of the most comprehensive and enlightening socialist sites on the web, the DSP's web page continues to develop. New additions include 'Globalisation', Neo-liberalism and the Capitalist Austerity Drive by Doug Lorimer, and Green Politics at an Impasse by Lisa Macdonald. The DSP can be found at .

Left History — A semi-annual journal published in the Department of History at Toronto's York University. Attempting to bridge theory and research, Left History features articles from a variety of theoretical perspectives, including feminist and Marxist. It welcomes submissions on topics such as race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, culture, the state, the environment, theory and method.

Palestinian Refugee ResearchNet — Resources on the refugee issue in the context of the Middle East peace process. Information includes papers, analyses, documents and refugee research projects around the world.

Palestinian Development InfoNet — An overview of international assistance to the Palestine Authority, information on economic conditions and donor programs in the West Bank and Gaza, and links to both PA web sites and those of NGOs active in the area.

Tasmanian Lesbian and Gay Rights Group — Launched to support its long fight against Tasmania's anti-homosexual laws. The site aims to be a pathway around the state education department's ban on discussion of homosexuality in the classroom. Check it out at .

Police corruption — A web site has been established to expose corruption and the misdeeds of the NSW police. The site argues that, despite the current attempt at "window dressing" by the Labor government, which has appointed a top British cop as police commissioner, nothing much has changed. wORking Press — An independent publisher run by volunteers. For 10 years, WP has published books by, for, and about working-class artists and writers. It has established a presence on the web. The site features information on wORking Press books and projects, including interviews with working-class writers. The site is offering two new pamphlets by Stefan Szczelkun, author of Conspiracy of Good Taste to download free of charge. See .

What's new on Corporate Watch — "Blood, Sweat and Shears — Can we put an end to sweatshops?". Corporate Watch takes an in-depth look at sweatshops in the United States and around the world. Featuring Charles Kernaghan, director of the National Labor Committee, Lora Jo Fu, president of Sweatshop Watch, and Julie Su, attorney with the Asian Pacific American Legal Centre of Southern California.
