CANBERRA — Two hundred and twenty people packed an auditorium at Parliament House for a 'People's Forum' hosted by the Greens, while the official 'leaders' debate' was televised live next door. The forum was led by Greens Senator Bob Brown and heard other Greens MPs Christine Milne, Kerrie Tucker and Rachael Siewert. After a discussion, the forum adjourned to watch the official debate on a giant screen. The audience was free to mock and heckle PM Howard and wanna-be-PM Rudd during the debate whilst also participating in the televised electronic voting system represented by a 'worm' during the length of the debate.
