Campaign against sanctions

An International Appeal to End Sanctions against the Iraqi People is being coordinated by former US attorney general Ramsey Clarke and others in the International Action Centre in New York.

The campaign takes the form of letters addressed to members of the UN Security Council demanding an end to the sanctions. The centre is calling for human rights groups, unions, women's, religious, youth and other organisations to add their voices to the demand for an end to sanctions.

To obtain a copy of a standard letter and a mailing list of countries presently on the UN Security Council, contact the Committee to Save the Children of Iraq, PO Box 146, Petersham NSW 2049.
