BRITAIN: Union federation declares solidarity with Venezuelan revolution

Issue

On September 14, 1500 delegates representing 6.7 million workers unanimously voted to express their support for Venezuela's Bolivarian revolution and the National Union of Workers (UNT). The motion was presented by the university and college teachers' union NATFHE. Arguing in favour of the motion, NATFHE president John Wilkin desribed the substantial gains of the Venezuelan revolution, singing that "We need a bit of Bolivarianism in Britain".
