This is the view of lawyer Bill Pepper, who has spent the past 20 years investigating the killing. ABC-TV, Monday, January 31, 8.30pm.

Michael Moore: The Awful Truth — Moore tries to see multi-billionaire Ira Rennert, CEO of several top companies which are the biggest polluters in the US. The goal is to present him the Awful Truth Man of the Year award — a life-size statue of a person covered in slime. Rennert obtains a restraining order preventing Moore from coming within 50 metres of his office. SBS, Tuesday, February 1, 8pm.

Norman Mailer's America: American Virtue 1974-1998 — The self-confessed "left conservative" author concludes his examination of US society, politics and his own antics within it. SBS, Tuesday, February 1, 8.30pm.

Tobacco Wars: Smoked Out — Last episode of this documentary about the nefarious activities of the killer tobacco industry. The installment examines the pressure the tobacco companies are coming under as consumers learn of the health dangers. ABC-TV, Thursday, February 3, 9.30pm.
