Johnson and Friends I love children's television! Where else can you watch the adventures of a pink stuffed elephant called Johnson? And as if that weren't enough of a drawcard, in this new series we are introduced to a new character called Victoria — an orange dinosaur with green polka dots. ABC, 4.30pm, Friday, November 18.

The Comic Strip Presents: South Atlantic Raiders, part one — This new series brings together many well-known British comedians, including Nigel Planner, Jennifer Saunders, Adrian Edmondson and Robbie Coltrane. The first episode is a love story set in an ornithological expedition in the Falklands. SBS, 9pm, Saturday, November 19.

Fine Cut: A Day Inside the Warsaw Ghetto — A German soldier was given a day off on his birthday in 1941. He spent it illegally photographing inside the Warsaw ghetto. Along with excerpts from diaries kept by the Jews living there, the photos give a spine-chilling account of this horrendous episode in history. SBS, 11.10pm, Monday, November 21.

Great Crimes and Trials of the Twentieth Century: The Rosenbergs — At the height of US anticommunist hysteria, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were accused of passing information about the Manhattan Project (the US atomic bomb project) to the USSR. They were found guilty and on June 19, 1953, they were executed together. ABC, 8pm, Tuesday, November 22.

The Cutting Edge: Luchando: Cuba's struggle to survive — Melbourne-based film maker Russel Porter took a Hi-8 camera with him on his trip into Cuba. Interviewing a range of people, he tries to paint a picture of the mood and situation of the people there. SBS, 8.30pm, Tuesday, November 22.
