9point = The Gettys: a Tragedy of Riches — A two-part documentary which reveals the life story of one the world's richest families and the man at its centre, oil baron J. Paul Getty. SBS, Friday, May 30, 8.30pm.

9point = The Gate of Heavenly Peace — art of an SBS series on the hand over of Hong Kong, this three-hour documentary explores the political process that eventually led to the Beijing massacre in Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989. SBS, Sunday, June 1, 7.30pm.

9point = The Thin Blue Line: Ism, Ism, Ism — Comedy series set in a British police station. Written and directed by Ben Elton and starring Rowan Atkinson. In this episode an asylum seeker seeks refuge and sparks a debate about racism. Fowler decides to test the ethnic tolerance of his officers by pretending to be a Martian. ABC-TV, Monday, June 2, 8pm.

9point = The Bureau: The Price of Freedom — A "behind-the-scenes" examination of the world's most powerful police agency — The US federal Bureau if Investigation — from the days of its control by the autocratic cross-dresser J Edgar Hoover, to the present. ABC-TV, Monday, June 2, 10.35pm.

9point = Journey Through Patagonia — The first of a four-part series on the environment of the Patagonian region of South America. The narrator takes us through the spectacular forests, lakes, mountains, waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes and rock formations. We also meet the indigenous people. SBS, Tuesday, June 3, 8pm.

9point = Out in the Bush — A film about being gay or lesbian in the country. Includes interviews with people about their experiences of harassment and persecution which the film maker believes is one of the causes of the high youth suicide rate in rural Australia. SBS, Tuesday, June 3, 8.30pm.

9point = Muhammad Ali: More than Just a Boxer — A look at the great fighter's battles inside and outside of the ring. At the height of his career, Ali refused to fight in Vietnam declaring: "No Viet-Cong ever called me nigger". He provoked the enmity of the white, Christian US ruling class. He was fined and stripped of his boxing license and passport. Ali was the king of the ring who used his celebrity to fight for freedom and justice. ABC-TV, Tuesday, June 3, 8.30pm.
