World Series Debating: "That Science is a Health Hazard" — Lex Marinos, Alan Saunders, Jean Kitson, Phillip Adams are debaters. ABC, Wednesday, June 1, 8.30pm.

The Damnation of Harvey McHugh — A movie-length episode kicks off a 13-hour comedy drama series about an innocent clerk and a corrupt politician. After accidentally uncovering a plan by the government to short-change all Australians pensioners, Harvey McHugh finds himself the target of an assassination attempt. ABC, Thursday, June 2, 8.30pm.

People: A Question of Colour — African-American Kate Sandler tackles the subject of colour consciousness among black Americans. The "black is beautiful" movement in the late '60s, the role of the media and the special burden that the "colour question" places on all black women are explored. SBS, Friday, June 3, 8.30pm.

Cult Movie: Godzilla versus Biollante — A huge mutant plant engages in a monumental battle to the death with Godzilla. SBS, Friday, June 3, 12.45am (Saturday morning).
