Anti-racist protest at Hanson's Gold Coast launch

"Stop Hanson's racism" is the theme of a rally being planned by Brisbane's Anti-Racist Campaign, in conjunction with activists on the Gold Coast, to protest at the launch of Pauline Hanson's One Nation party on the Gold Coast.

The rally will take place at the Arts Centre, Bundall Street, Chevron Island, on Tuesday, July 1, from 5.30pm.

Support is growing for the protest, with student unions and other organisations sponsoring buses to the Gold Coast, planned to leave Brisbane at 4pm and 5.30pm.

Campaign meetings of the ARC are being held at the ACTU Building, Peel Street, South Brisbane, at 6pm every Monday. For more information and to book seats on the buses, telephone (07) 3254 0565 or 3871 1446.
