Why
If you only attend one horseracing protest a year, this is the one to join!
On Melbourne Cup Day 2026, we will be based at the Newmarket Reserve next to Flemington Racecourse with music, drinks and picnic set-up starting at 10am.
Throughout the day we'll take our banners up to the entrance of the racecourse to chant and display our opposition to the cruelty of horseracing.
When the Melbourne Cup has been run in the afternoon, we will join the official Nup to the Cup party at Welcome to Thornbury.
