Why
Enjoy an evening of art, music, community connection and purpose.
Visual Voices presents a curated art exhibition of works by emerging artists— with the opportunity to experience alongside live music, food and beverages, and an atmosphere centred on community-connection and purpose.
Tickets available from Humanitix.
Designed as an inclusive and empowering space, the exhibition will explore the reclamation of voice, body and identity in the face of systems that attempt to silence or blame victim-survivors of sexual violence. Recognising that these issues disproportionately impact women, queer communities, and marginalised groups, the exhibition centres works that honour personal narratives, assert agency, and envision collective care.
100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to What Were You Wearing Australia, helping to raise funds to support our ongoing operations and outreach initiatives.
Your ticket includes:
- Access to WWYW Visual Voices; a curated art exhibition showcasing a selection of exhibited works
- Live music and DJ sets throughout the evening
- A complimentary beverage upon arrival, with additional drinks available to purchase from the bar selection
- Complimentary canapés available to enjoy throughout the evening
- WWYW merchandise available to purchase on site
- The opportunity to purchase selected artworks featured in the exhibition and take a piece of Visual Voices home with you!
