Why

NTEU members will come out in force and want their friends and community supporters with them. Students are strongly encouraged to attend and participate.

Workers from Griffith University, QUT and University of Queensland are standing up for:

  • Pay that keeps pace with the cost of living
  • Respectful and sustainable working conditions
  • Secure jobs and sustainable workloads
  • A better student experience
  • Strong, properly resourced public universities

This will send a clear message that university workers will not accept declining conditions, insecure work and workloads that continue to grow while resources are stretched.

When management won’t listen, workers organise. When we stand together, we have power.

Three universities. One voice. One message: our universities matter, and the people who work in them deserve to be valued.
