Why
Socialist Alliance has been at the forefront of grassroots campaigns to end Australia’s support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza and opposing the destruction of public housing.
Socialist Alliance is running in the upcoming State Election to give a voice to the aspirations of working people who want better than what’s being offered.
Socialist Alliance will be launching our campaign in Broadmeadows featuring our candidate Sue Bolton.
Sue Bolton is a veteran socialist activist and currently serving her fourth term on the Merri-bek City Council.
Bolton has a stand-out record of working with residents and communities to empower them to stand up for their rights. She has won victories that include saving the outdoor pool in Fawkner and won council support to end contracts with companies supporting the Israeli military
The campaign launch will be a great opportunity to meet our members and supporters and get involved.
We will need help with activities in the lead-up to election day including: campaign stalls, handing out on pre-poll & polling day, letterboxing, putting up a yard sign, doorknocking and donations to the campaign.
