Why

Kings Cross has an incredible history of protest and dissent. It saw some of the earliest trans activism, a strike by strippers, the first Mardi Gras, Green Bans and mass squatting by communists. Police, property developers and fascists tried their utmost to thwart the left - even resulting in murder. Join your friendly tour guides and co-hosts of the People’s History of Australia podcast Tim and Christian for a fascinating walk through Kings Cross’s radical past.

The tour will go to 1pm and we will have lunch and drinks afterwards! Meet at the Coca-Cola sign.
