This session is a chance to better understand these impacts and explore what sustainable, decentralised energy systems and real climate solutions could look like for South Asia.

Featuring:

  • Gyatso Lepcha – General Secretary, Affected Citizens of Teesta (ACT), a people's movement against large dams
  • Parineeta Dandekar – Associate Coordinator, South Asian Network on Dams, Rivers, and People (SANDRP).

Time:

  • 2:30pm Dhaka
  • 2pm Delhi

Register online.

To be in solidarity, we need to understand the complex problem of human-caused changes that are making ecology and communities in the Himalayas so vulnerable. And be informed about what we can do. Join us for a learning and discussion.
