We are bringing Protect Beautiful Qld to Far North Qld! Join us and Cairns and Far North Environment Centre to find out all about the campaign and how you can get involved.
Far North Queensland is home to some of the most incredible landscapes and wildlife in the state, from the islands of Great Barrier Reef, tropical rainforests of the Daintree and weird and wonderful creatures such as the Cassowary and Tree Kangaroo. Although the region already has some amazing National Parks we think more is worth protecting, only 15.7% of Far North Qld is protected! We are campaigning to double Queensland’s protected areas, in partnership with First Nations people.
Join us to find out more about the campaign, what this will look like for FNQ, meet other volunteers and find out how you can get involved to help grow the campaign.
