Why
The CLP Goverment has recently annouced plans to build a $1.2 billion privately owned prison and remand centre. This comes at a time when the NT’s child protection system is in crisis, our public hospitals are at full capacity, our public education systems are under strain, and housing is non-existent.
There will be guest speakers and a Q&A session. Join us and have your say.
This will be peaceful and respectful gathering.
Children are welcome. There will be a play area and activities. The park is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. There are public toilets.
