Why
A Nice Indian Boy is coming to Deckchair Cinema for a special fundraiser screening supporting Top End Pride this Sunday!
Tickets available from Deckchair Cinema.
Starring Karan Soni and Jonathan Groff, this warm, funny romantic comedy asks what happens after you find the right person and have to introduce them to the family.
Naveen is a quiet Indian-American doctor who has spent years keeping parts of his life separate from his loving but traditional family. Then he meets Jay, a charming artist with an enthusiasm for Indian culture, Bollywood and, increasingly, Naveen.
When the relationship gets serious, Naveen brings Jay home to meet his parents. What follows is a funny and heartfelt collision of romance, family expectations, cultural traditions and plans for the Indian wedding they never quite imagined.
Directed by Roshan Sethi, A Nice Indian Boy is generous, genuinely funny and refreshingly romantic, with a terrific pairing in Karan Soni and Jonathan Groff.
Come along for a feel-good night under the stars while supporting Top End Pride!
Tickets available from Deckchair Cinema.
