Join us on Thursday August 6th outside Aston Labor MP Mary Doyle's office to protest nearly 3 years of Labor complicity in the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.
Labor's recent National Conference scuttled attempts to pass pro-Palestine motions. This is in spite of escalating settler pogroms in the West Bank, and the continued bombardment of Gaza. Sanction Israel now! End the F-35 contracts! Cut all ties to the genocidal regime! Not only that, but Labor has overseen a farce of a Royal Commission that conflates legitimate, and necessary, criticism of the state of Israel with antisemitism.
Mary Doyle and Labor have helped establish Aston as a weapons manufacturing hub, securing tens of millions in public grants for Rosebank Engineering in Bayswater to provide key parts and servicing for Lockheed Martin's F-35 fighter jet program, including the uplock actuator which opens and closes the jets' weapons bay doors.
Many of these subsidies have flowed to Rosebank since the escalation of the genocide. In April 2025 the company was granted $16.3m to support an Asia-Pacific Repair depot for the F-35s’ power and thermal management systems, as well as $9.1m for regional repair capability for the landing gear.
